Depending on the model of computer being used with EEGer, adjustments may need to be made to ensure the software runs in an ideal environment. Following these steps ensures that the software is easy to navigate and that it has access to the necessary resources during live sessions.

Taskbar Adjustments

For EEGer to properly display, the Windows Taskbar must be set to autohide. To do this, follow the instructions here.

Security Adjustments

Antivirus and Security Programs can interfere with EEGer’s ability to run live and replay sessions. These programs tend to use a disproportionate amount of computer resources in the background and can block or remove files in EEGer that they do not recognize. To prevent this, it is recommended to disable these programs or add exceptions for EEGer and its subfolders.

For more information on these recommended adjustments, see this article.

Display Adjustments

EEGer is best experienced in Dual Monitor mode, which requires Windows to be configured in order to display. For more information and steps, see this article.

In addition to setting Windows to extend, the display scaling and screen resolution may need to be adjusted.

Function Keys

Certain keyboards can have the actions performed by the function keys (F keys) to be different than what is needed for EEGer. For more information, see this article.
