The best way to get an understanding of what a new feedback display offers is to use it in demonstration mode. Running a game in demonstration mode allows a user to observe how the feedback works and what customization options are available, as well as allowing for the user to determine if the feedback the game offers would be appropriate or effective for the sessions it would be used with. All compatible EEGer games can be used in demonstration mode, and is strongly encouraged to ensure that both the feedback is appropriate and that the game performs well on the computer it will be used with.

Demonstration mode does not allow the feedback display to be used for live neurofeedback sessions. Demonstration mode allows the game to be ran in replay mode using saved session data. To use a feedback display for live neurofeedback sessions, the user either needs to purchase the game from EEG Store or request a 30-day trial of the game.

Trials of feedback displays are available upon request. These trials allow the game to be used for an unlimited number of sessions within a 30-day period of time. There is a limit to one trial of each feedback display per license. This period of time is intended to allow the user to use the game for feedback and determine if it will be effective for their purposes. Many clinicians offer this to clients as an alternative to the normal feedback displays they use in order to get feedback on the experience.
