Game trials allow for a user to test out a feedback display before committing to a full purchase. Trials last for 30-days, which is usually an adequate time to test out a feedback display and receive feedback from clients on its effectiveness.
To begin a game trial, a user can contact EEG Store to request one. EEG Store will then provide a new keyfile enabling the selected game for a 30-day period. The user is then able to install the game onto their computer and use it for live feedback for the duration of the trial. Once the trial is over, the user can purchase the game or simply continue using the software as normal if they do not want to purchase the game. If a trial has expired and the game has not been purchased, live sessions will not be possible with that specific game. If the game is purchased, a new keyfile is installed to enable the game for live sessions.
